The Pink Ribbon Bagel was originally created Sue Stees in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 2001. Sue Stees, is a Panera franchisee who is today, an over 20-year breast cancer survivor. Her inspiration has spread throughout our organization and now Pink Ribbon Bagels are sold across the country in participating Panera Bread bakery-cafes. By buying a Pink Ribbon Bagel you are helping us to raise money and awareness for the Breast Cancer cause. In Iowa, we donate 20 cents for every Pink Ribbon Bagel sold to a local breast cancer group.
